Good idea to retire the 130 point pick. If I read it right, all the teams that remain are among the defensive leaders. While there likely will be some brilliant individual scoring performances, these will come at the expense of team scoring.

Deion is spending his offseason needling former players on social media.
The funniest thing about driving off so many players last year is that Deion brought his star quarterback son with him and then caused the entire offensive line to transfer out. Not funny to his son I'd imagine.

I am old enough actually to have heard a Foster Hewitt hockey broadcast. I grew up in a town next door to Boston directly on the coast. When atmospheric conditions were just right, I could listen to the CBC hockey broadcast, usually from a station on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Boston Bruins have had a couple of very good radio broadcasters, Fred Cusick and Bob Wilson, but Hewitt was clearly better. I never heard a Bob Cole broadcast, but in listening to a YouTube memorial it is clear that Cole was a worthy successor to Foster Hewitt. Hewitt taught the young Bob Cole well. RIP, Bob Cole.

I don't know if he'll ever become a successful coach at Colorado's competitive level, but right now, he's way more of a brand than he is a coach.

I hope I'm wrong about the Maple Leafs having another exit at the hands of the Bruins. The battle of Florida will be fun. I keep going back and forth on that pick, so I'm expecting that series to go the distance. The Stars caught a rough matchup in round one. Might as well figure out quickly if Dallas is the real deal.
